I also think that we should strongly look into the stipends which the Dalit students get. Do thay actualy get it in hand. For example I have passed out from a college in Maharashtra two years back, the dalit students oer here are yet to get their stipends to which the concerned college has to issue cheques and they do it and would not do the appropriate followup and the cheque bounces. This has been a regular feature. This has to do with the Brahmanical structures operating at all levels. A study must be done in Kerala as to what does the management college does to the funds which come in the name of the students. And these issues will never be taken up by the so called 'left' student organizations in their life.
