However, there is one thing I still am unable to fathom, with all the intelligence you attribute to me: why did Amaresh Misra's rants, which could beat the whackiest American UFO lore hands down, get so much credence among Leftists? Is it the Creationist style zeal for "equal time" or is it the postmodernist "all theories are equally valid"? I am confused. Please enlighten me.
Frankly, I have never heard of Beena Sarwar before. My take on her is an educated guess, judging from the alacrity with which such feel good messages are propagated and my prior knowledge of South- Asianists. I may be wrong on her, but the South-Asianist game plan is as clear as the day.
