Dear friend This is the response I got when I forwarded the mail about the "missing child pooja" to my friends in mumbai..The mail says the case stands closed and the child was adopted by someone in Kerala.. Please see the mail below from Sonali Gonsalves, Childline India Foundation written in June 2009 in response to a similar mail. I don't know how to verify the authenticity of the information we get through mails..but maybe we should be more careful about forwarding random mails. chitra

We had to issue a formal warning on our website and all. Thanks anyway, for sending us such information.
