Well... I've just been looking at it, but it doesn't seem possible to make an
option in configure.ac. So we have two options I guess :

 * making an autogen.sh calling gettextize --intl and libtoolize --ltdl and
then autoreconf, so everyone will have the ltdl and intl libs statically
linked

 * making a README file for MacOSX, saying that these macros should be called
and configure.ac modified (changing

AM_GNU_GETTEXT([external])

in

AM_GNU_GETTEXT()

). In this solution, people under MacOSX won't be able to compile the source
package unless they have XCode... which is not really sad I think...

What solution do you prefer? Tracy can you confirm that the second solution
is working? Will you be able to make a Mac package with it?
