release-3.0 is the release candidate we're currently prepping
Once 3.0.0 is released, master will hold the most recent stable release. Right now it holds the most recent official release candidate (3.0.0-rc2) which is a handful of commits behind release-3.0
develop is the most recent development version, all the new features here should work, but there may be corner cases which don't (i.e. bugs)
All other branches are for the ongoing development of new features or bugfixes. Some are in more stable, ready to go states than others. Some are outright broken.
Based on that command, you're most likely on develop at a relatively recent commit, but there's been some activity on that branch recently, so I can't guess as to exactly where you were.
What are the output of `git branch` and `git describe`? ✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝ Br. Samuel, OSB (R. Padraic Springuel) PAX ☧ ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ _______________________________________________ Gregorio-devel mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/gregorio-devel
