Okay, there's an error in the installation instructions. To build the
fonts you don't just need fontforge, you need fontforge with the python
bindings. To get that first uninstall fontforge with:
sudo port uninstall fontforge
Then install the variant:
sudo port install fontforge +python27
Once that's done, try the build process again.
