I think we should wait until you can test the installer on Windows 7 and 8. There's really no pressure to release right now (please correct me if I'm wrong), and it's better not to generate a bunch of "please wait for the hotfix" support requests for a GA release when we already know that two users have already had a problem with files not installing correctly under RC2.
