Hi! I've been trying to get gregorio to work on my laptop (Mac OSX) and my desktop (Fedora 10) with varying levels of success. It was fairly easy on my work computer, but that runs ubuntu so it wasn't exactly a challenge.
The problems I'm having are these: (1) On Mac OSX, I'm encountering the usual problems with the installation script. By "usual" I mean that they've popped up in the list archives already, so by reading the archives, I was able to get to the point where kpathsea decides to run mktextfm greciliae... and then collapses. I've tried updmap-sys as root and updmap and user: that solution doesn't work for me. Any other suggestions? The problem may be that I'm trying to run it with latex. For some reason lamed fails, saying it can't find lamed.fnt. I know this isn't a lamed list, but if anyone has a thought on that I'd be grateful. (2) I have managed to get gregorio-0.9.1 to compile on Fedora 10, but I can't get gregorio-0.9.2 even to compile. (3) A general comment: is it possible to get the ./configure to report an error when some of these packages are missing? I for example lacked the libltdl-devel package and only guessed the problem when I examined the source files.
