Hi, I'm working on a rather large file with chants and lyrics. Today I added some more chants and alpha gave up, complaining that it ran out of memory (main_memory in texmf.cnf had been set at 2000000). I doubled the setting and reconfigured things, so it works now with an even larger file, but still I wondered:
* Has anyone else encountered this while typesetting large files of chant using gregorio? * Is it possible that this is due to a subtle error in my gabc? * Is it likely I will encounter the error again? I'd like to add quite a few more chants to that file. * Are there any tips to avoiding this problem in alpha and/or gregorio? or any safe workarounds? thanks john perry -- John Perry Father, The Perry Dis-Organization
