One more thing... I thought of loading package luatextra to see if the
module implementation might change something. The problem in this case
is that the fonts cannot be loaded :
! Font \gregorianfont=greciliae at 10pt not loadable: metric data not
found or
bad.

Which has been my general experience with luaotfload. It seems that
pdflualatex at least still requires separate metrics files for otf
fonts... I haven't figured out how to generate them...

this was a bug in gregorio due to a "feature" in LuaTeX that they
should have been fixing since (I'll test later why this bug still
appears on a recent LuaTeX). This bug is fixed if you take the latest
version of gregoriotex.tex
(http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/gregorio/trunk/tex/gregoriotex.tex?rev=795).
