Objet: Re: [Gregorio-users] Brainstorming about ancient chant notation

Hello,

I don't expect I would be using such a feature myself, but one possibility for
notation would be something like:

Text(GABC){NABC}

This way it would be fairly easy to keep the neumes and GABC conceptually
together, or to produce a score that was simply Text{NABC} if that was desired.

Just a suggestion.

The ancient notation doesn't need (as I think, and as we can see in Graduale
triplex ) to be strictly aligned with notes ; moreover, if desired, it could be
done by defining a syntax thad would align / with neumatic spaces, or something
similar.

In contrary - I would prefer to have the neumes aligned with notes. How would I
achieve it with two files?
