There is something non-obvious here: - when changing one glyph that never appears linked to another (such as stropha, oriscus liquescens, punctum inclinatum deminutum, etc.), it is very easy to keep several variations of the same glyph in one font, we already do that - when it comes to glyphs that are linked with others (such as punctum, oriscus, quilisma, punctum auctus, etc.), all the combined glyphes need to be duplicated, and this makes the font very large and messy for very little benefit, so it's cleaner to replace the old glyphs completely. Making a new font would open the door to too many fonts (one with this oriscus and this quilisma, one with this oriscus and this kind of punctum ascendens, etc.). > I'm wondering if it's possible to change only the oriscus liq. with a > very very light touch... Sure, oriscus liquescens fits in the first category, so it's very easy to add for us.
