Hello, I'm working on a project <https://cantusop.wordpress.com/> where I'm trying to match the notation of the early Dominican chant manuscripts as closely as possible.
With this chant, I would like for the "plica" notes produced on Surge and Excelso in the first line to have the left and right notes joined closer together, but when I do this the left-tail extends too far. Can I control that manually, or is it possible for the Dominican version of the fonts to be modified to make ! change the lef-tail length automatically? I.e.: sur(h!jV>) [image: Inline image 1] Here's the GABC I'm using: name:Jerusalem, surge; office-part:Communio; mode:2; book:Graduale O.P. (Suarez), 1950, p. 6; transcriber:Andrew Hinkley (ed. Innocent Smith, op); %% (f3) Ie(fhe)rú(fh)sa(hg)lem(hghf) <v>$\star$</v>() sur(hjV>)ge,(i) (;) et(hV>) sta(hi) in(ij) ex(ig)cél(hiV>)so:(gf) (:) et(hg) vi(fe/fgFE/fg)de(f) (,4) iu(f)cun(hffV>)di(f)tá(hihi)tem,(hg) (;) quæ(g) vé(ij)ni(ig)et(high) ti(fv_//egef)bi(fvEC) (;) a(e) De(gih)o(hv_//giHGh) tu(fgf)o(f) (::) Thanks, fr Innocent, op
