Nibs are perfectly localizable to me and all other localizers. Xibs have a big disadvantage: cannot test the localization. You can do all the diffing and merging you want in the English version, but please once you send out a beta, just make sure the nibs inside are not compiled.
Once you send out a public build, just flip the compile switch if you like.
