Hello, As I recently converted all my computers (Mac Pro, Mac Mini, MacBook Pro) to Mac OS X 10.6.2 with the Mac Mini to Server, I saw that the network functionality of Growl does not work anymore. The setup: - Mac Mini running Server stuff, Growl (set up to send messages to my main user computer) and also iTunes & Skype - Mac Pro is my main user computer and has Growl set up to receive messages from the network - Growl is version 1.2 (latest when looking on www.growl.info)
Growl does work on the Mac Mini locally and dutifully displays every messages produced. On the other side of the network, however, my Mac Pro complains into its log with above's error message that the signature does not match and does not display anything coming from the network. Also here, it works locally though. Growl v1.1.4 worked over the network still fine with OS X 10.5.8 on all computers. So, I reckon that either Snow Leopard, its server derivation or Growl v1.2 does alter something when sending Growl messages over the network. If there is something to test for me, I am happy to test every suggestion. Thanks in advance! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
