It's not as simple as changing *one* icon. We have other instances of the use (example: http://growl.googlecode.com/hg/Extras/GrowlMail/GrowlMail.png) of this icon throughout the project. If we change the icon in one place, it has to change in all places. Since my laptop is currently not working, I don't know exactly how much there is, but I do know it's more than 1 icon to change.
Then we have to modify it on the website. Then we have to notify devs using the icon that they need to update. This last item is the hardest. It's not just changing it on the website and the apps. This all said, the guy who designed it contacted me directly, and I'll work with him on it. Thanks for starting the conversation.
