Fair enough, I wasn't aware of the GrowlIMail branding etc. I am happy to help out where possible. I would be happy to let the major developers know regarding branding changes etc. Once the major developers were updated the rest would follow soon after.
The Apple Icon HIG guidelines changed around Leopard with light source and perspective. I do honestly think the Growl branding does need a revamp.
