when i open system preferences growl is not there, and i know that it should be. the only thing that was there was the Growl.prefPane, which i moved to the trash. this has been happening since i originally tried to uninstall a couple months ago. it just started driving me nuts with the pop ps, which is why i want to fix it now. so, it is not in system prefs, but is showing up in the activity monitor and i have the pref pane in my trash (but it wont delete).
