To be specific, I filed that in June 2008. I've edited the OpenRadar copy to 
include that info.

Yeah. Either way, the bug lies somewhere between Thunderbird/Firefox and Mac OS 
X.

Kahil, try that workaround. You can download the Growl Registration Dictionary 
Editor (for the purpose of associating .growlRegDict files with it) from here:

        http://growl.info/files/GrowlRegDictEditor-1.0b1.zip
