It's mindblowing that you didn't read the entire changelog.
This is a maintenance release, it's not a release full of major
enhancements. We're working on those for 2.0.
In the future, please ask the question as to why things are how they
are, rather than assume you know the answer. It'd make life easier for
us, and is just the polite thing to do.
