Also, the fcc wouldn't be able to intervene here, since we're not impeding
communications in any way. The BBB wouldn't matter, since we aren't a
traditional business. The lawyer needs to be directed at the company which
installed Growl without your permission.

We can help you determine what company did this, but it's likely easier,
less expensive, and worth more of your time to just follow our directions
and get Growl off of your system, rather than to threaten a few people with
legal action which will get you nowhere. Bear in mind I'm not a lawyer, but
I have about 12 bucks in my bank account, and my macbook pro is about to
die, so you won't get much out of it. I'd rather just get Growl off your
system if you don't want it, than to be overly expressive about and
threatening.

We do have some easy to follow directions on our website for removing Growl
in the scenarios we've seen Growl get installed. However, I don't think you
found those. They are located here:
http://growl.info/thirdpartyinstallations.php

Please let us know what we can do to help you get Growl off of your system.
I never in my life thought that I'd have to tell people how to remove Growl
because of some company doing this, you have my condolences. However, please
be cordial.

Chris
