I am typing this because your installer told me to contact the developers and the growl contact page said this is the best way...
I learned about growl because I installed drop box and a window came up that there is a new version of growl why does drop box not install the latest version? I am aware that you did not ask them to install but they definitally promote growl well :-) then I downloaded the latest version and installed it and the installer said that the installation failed and that I should contact you. not even an error code.
