I'm having some difficulty getting Growl working.

1. It started with mer downloading a style, called Nucleic. Can be
found here: http://designmoo.com/resource/nucleic-growl-theme/

2. I installed by double-clicking on the two styles (dark and light)
and it all worked successfully, so i clicked through to the settings
or what the next step prompted me about. The System Preferences
crashed right away and gave me an error. (Though it didn't reference
anything to growl so I didn't save it. I can probably reproduce it if
you want to take a look at it.)

3. I then restarted the System Preferences and clicked on Growl, it
said "Läser in Growl..." (which translated means "Loading Growl...")
at the top of the window. It kept on loading for 10 minutes before i
gave up and uninstalled growl via the uninstall script from the
Growl-1.2.1.dmg which was successful and i double-checked in the
PreferencePanes directory both in my home folder and from my main
(what is it called? the one it boots from..) hard drive. It was gone,
I also emptied the garbage can.

4. I then went trough the installation process from the
Growl-1.2.1.dmg and I got the "installation successful" window. But
System preferences crashed right away after that. And left me with
what looked like the same error as when I installed that style. It did
not reference anywhere to growl.
I could still not open the preference pane for Growl, it's just trying
to load Growl..

I then went through step 3. and 4. again a couple of times but the
same pattern occurred and I have now let it "load" Growl for the last
50 minutes, but no progress. I have also tried to restart the computer
but no difference.

I have saved the error logs (filtered on "growl") from the console app
and uploaded them here: http://cl.ly/2E1o3q2y3G1w0R3z1u3o
Don't know if it helps you but it might tell you more then it did to
me..

I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.7.

I have tried to explain this as thorough as I can, but if you need
more information or need me to try something, just tell me what to do.
I'm out of solutions except re-installing the OS, but that seems like
a lot of pain..

Thanks in advance!
