I have just returned from a holiday to notice that my iMacs fan was running and making a loud noise. I realised that the software called 'growl' was causing this, i'm sure you will agree its is highly dangerous that growl can have the permission to control you mac even in safe mode, it could of easily caused a fire! VERY UNHAPPY WITH GROWL!
