The fun part is that Mozilla decided years ago to make a modified version of the framework. So they took our framework and tore it apart to make it fit into their world development wise.
I tried firefox before we released Growl, and it worked fine for me though. However, it won't when we submit Growl as sandboxed once required to do so.
