Can you run the Growl Version Detective and see if they are running framework version 1.2.1 or 1.2.2? If it's any older than that, then those applications will need to update and you can use this workaround for now: http://www.ninjadesk.com/featured/fixing-outdated-apps-manually-to-work-with-the-new-growl-1-3-for-os-x-lion/
