I have the same problem! after I uninstall old version of Growl and
instal Growl 1.3 in my Macbook Pro OSX 10.7.2.
I have followed the official guide to test it by app "Simplest
notifier evar". The funny things is that Simlest Notifier Evar is the
ONLY application in the list!! But other applications which should
support Growl are still gone! (such as Dropbox, Cyberduck, and so
on..)
How stupid it is?!
