Yes, I restarted RipIt. Then restarted Growl. When neither worked, I rebooted my iMac and still no Growl. BTW, I just before going through the last steps listed, I upgraded to Growl 1.3.1 through MAS. All my apps, Skype, 1Password, Dropbox and Handbrake showed up. RipIt still did not.
