I've had Growl 1.3.3 acting weird initially after updating. I had to
click Growl multiple times in the Finder until it opened the
preferences window, and even then it was still missing the tabs (think
the case-sensitive filesystem bug)..

Trashing the preferences from ~/Library/Preferences and the ~/Library/
Application Support/Growl folder and starting clean seems to have
solved my issues. I also trashed HardwareGrowler prefs, just to make
sure.

It looks like there is something written to the prefs by Growl 1.3.2
that prevents Growl 1.3.3 from running properly. I don't see anything
in the logs to support my theory, but still it might be worth
investigating.

Anyway, people experiencing issues with Growl 1.3.3 after updating
from 1.3.2 should try trashing the prefs first.
