What's the use of a notification that sticks around when you have a nice
sidebar with a summary of your notifications there? If you want to talk about
usability, let's talk about it. This isn't a bug, this is intentional, since
this is how Growl notifications work. It's assumed that users of Growl want
notifications to behave like Growl, but to just show up in NC.

So if you want to talk about fixing something, that's the wrong way to think
about this. The real issue is expectations in the new NC world. I'm willing to
discuss it, but only if we think about the solution for 90% of people. But it's
not a bug to fix since it's intentional, so keep that in mind.

Think about notifications and how you use them, how everyone you know would use
them, and then think about why it should be the way you want it. Then write
down an explanation about why that is, why you want it that way. That's where
this conversation should start. We thought about this for a while and decided
that NC should act like just another Growl display for us. So if it should be
different let's talk about it, as Daniel mentioned.
