I never said you were stupid. Quite the contrary. I said to think about the scenario and write out what problems our solution solves and doesn't solve, and what the proposed change solves and doesn't solve, and to think about how that affects more people than just yourself in doing so. I don't think this is rude at all, it involves you in the thought process here. I think you misunderstood what I was saying.
