Personally, I do NOT want to see a discord. While I agree that some means of talking specifically about parts of gRPC (languages, etc) would be a good candidate for channels—many of those conversations are talked about, but in other slack workspaces (CNCF and gophers both have slack channels dedicated to gRPC). Centralizing that into a single gRPC server/workspace would make it easy to talk about gRPC, but gRPC isn’t the only conversation happening. It’s “how do I use gRPC with x or y”.
I realize you may be frustrated, but you haven’t really given a reason why. You’re choosing to berate the team here because they don’t do something the way you want. Please take a moment and tell WHY something would help? Is it enough to identify where we have slack channels or “unofficial” communities?
