No probs with te process. The first time I got a mate to help me out just in case, but it can be done with one person. The rockers will come off the lfters and valve tops without much effort. I used a small crow bar to leaver them off with the fulcrum point on bits between the bolts. You wil see the places when you actually do it.
I soaked them in some Kero for a week, then a can of carby cleaner squirted in all of them to get the gunk out then soaked them again in some of that lifter free stuff. I cheated as I had a spare old set lying around that I did this with which meant I didnt have my car off the road. ;) Lon. --- In [email protected], "manay005" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Lon, > > Thanks for that,... > > So there are no obvious probs with the process.. and the rocker arms > should come straight of the lifters?? > > What do you soak them in too loosen them up? > > heheh..
