The gearbox place have actually replaced a couple of
bearings even though they couldn't see anything obvious as to why it was
vibrating. OK then. They reckon 3 bearings looked a bit worn on
closer inspection and COULD be the problem, but he's not 100%. Synchro's were
fine.
Total cost for labour + parts and new seals etc:
$800
Shite!
We're also looking at sending my flywheel and new HD
clutch kit to an engineer to have it all matched up correctly before fitting
back to the motor. Should be back on the road next week, so will let you know if
it fixes the problem.
