Nah, stock CC is all manual wires.

For the outside temp to work you should have a sensor that ends up all 
the way out the front of the car (I think, I was never 100% about this 
sensor, was black and looked like a smooth capsule about 5 cm long). The 
only other sensor was an IR type one which sat right in the middle of 
the dash pointing up into the sky. I assumed this was the inside sensor 
but might be the outside one and the inside one is in one of the boxes?

I still think the outside capsule thingo was more likely to be the out 
side sensor though...
