Hi again Jim, I found out that I had to set "X11UseLocalhost" to "no" in the gsisshd's config file to successfully forward X11 connections. I think this is due to a change in /etc/hosts. In the meanwhile I tested the latest source release and the packages for SL6 and they all work (but the test machines were under my full control and I could adjust /etc/hosts so that "X11UseLocalhost" could be left to "yes").
