Sure, but GTKG is missing the features to make this easy enough. I don't think you want to let GTKG search for the snapshot because that would waste bandwidth. The best would be to publish some entry point where you can get dmesh entries - sounds like BitTorrent without the ability to share partial files. And it would be very nice if you could use normal web servers (or even FTP servers) as alternate sources. OTOH, it should be quite easy (hopefully) to add a widget to the frontend where you can manually add a URL to be downloaded. Further, you would need something to create the dmesh entries. Another problem is that the lifetime of those snapshots is rather short, so that there'll be a new snapshot before there are many new alternate sources. -- Christian
