I have collected the ChangeLog for this release and included it below
(also in CVS). Did I miss anything for this list?

As you can see I decided to release this version as 0.96. Even though no
major changes have been made there are so many small changes and
bugfixes that I felt that 0.95.1 would not give the right message. That
seems more appropriate for a bug fix release with only a few small and
specific fixes.

# v 0.96 2005.05.06 [stable]

- Searches are now only emitted once when starting GTKG. In previous
versions the searches would be resent at a specific interval. This
behavior was changed because automatic requering harms the network
and because more search results are returned through Gnutella network
improvements such as OOB query hits and high outdegree, reducing the
  need for automatic requerying.
- Bitzi tickets are now persistently cached so that tickets are
  available again after restarting GTKG.
- Updated UTF-8 support using built-in code, matching the use of UTF-8
in other Gnutella clients. This will make it easier to search for
files with non-ASCII filenames. We no longer depend on the ICU
  library to do this.
- Compatibility fixes to allow compilation on more architectures,
  including 64 bit architectures.
- Updated listings for geographic information, bogus addresses and
  spam sites.
- Numerous small bugfixes.
- German, Japanese, and Spanish translation updated.

Kind regards,

Hans
