No, it should be 'n': The official build scripts (like Debian's rule)
must supply the necessary -D switch to Configure to make it official.
As a developper, you don't want an official build by default, which
is why the default is set up that way. As a packager (compiling for
others), you know that you must answer 'y'.
An official build will prevent the built binary from accessing the
resources held in your build directory, which is fine if you don't
install your software as root but just want to use the binary immediately.
