Last November / December I rode 4200 miles with Sherm Cooper (any
motocrossers / flat trackers remember him?) who has been riding for about 60
years & wear mittens. It was sub freezing some mornings when we took off,
his hands stayed warm & mine damn near froze. I was wearing regular,
non-electric, gloves. Mittens look akward but they're not if you're used to
them & they absolutely prevent "one fingering" the front break.
