Thanks for the fuel filter tip. At 44k I'll be
replacing mine soon. I've been using the Purolator
PL14620 PLUS micro oil filter for the last 10k miles.
This is their top line oil filter.It's auto coun-
terpart is for the Infiniti Q45 or the NISSAN Maxima.
The Q45 is a massive auto with a V8. I looked at
the flow pattern and it looked identical to the stock
YAMAHA filter. It not only adds filtration beyond
stock, but it adds 33% more oil capacity for cooling
in this HOT Southern State of Florida. It cost half
of a stock filter.
