I'm not sure where in the bay area you live but I find myself freezing
in the morning and boiling over in the afternoon.
Well, I'm exaggerating a little. But not by much.

Last summer when I went to buy the replacement crown from David
I started by pouring water all over me when taking off from Sunnyvale
and then ended up freezing when entered the low clouds on southbound 280
close to Pacifica.

Coastal areas are perfect for riding though. Not much variation indeed.
Sunnyvale and Cupertino areas are the other story though.

I really regret the decision to go with one piece suit for this winter
instead of buying Gerbing electric suit: would saved me a bit of aggravation
of changing the gear back and forth :-(

Plus SoloExpedition turned out not as warm as I thought it would be.
Definitely not as warm as an insulated Spartan oversuit. Who would've known.

I guess experience is what you get when you did not get what you wanted ;^)
