At this point I wouldn't recommend them to work on something
as simple as a lawnmower.
There was a time when I felt they were the best Yamaha service
in the Bay Area. Since then they've gone through 4 service
managers, three entire service teams, and countless "lead
mechanics."
Consider this a consumer alert; feel free to forward it to others.

I doubt they could be worse.
Things that aren't right with the bike (I mentioned some before):
o They didn't do the rear swingarm bushing. The swingarm still
has vertical play with the bike on the centerstand.
o The bushing for the upper front A-Arm wasn't changed. The
part's on back order. No, they didn't order it SIX MONTHS AGO
when I dropped the bike off- They ordered it 2 weeks ago.
o They lost two screws for grey tank cowl piece.
o Didn't connect fuel overflow tube to grey piece, and in fact
lost the hose somewhere inside the bodywork. (I hope)
o Didn't reconnect my wiring for PIAAs, and lost the wires inside
the bodywork.
o Lots of little scuffs/scratches all over paint, and a good one
on the front wheel. (I think it's only damaged clearcoat)
o No wash or detail inside or out, as was promised.
o Gear shift lever had to be repositioned, in horrible angle.
o My engine light's come on twice. Cycling power's got it to
go off. Thoughts?
Seems to not be burning oil, despite one good black puff on
start up once. I now have 500 miles on the motor, and the
oil sight glass still shows full. However, they could have
overfilled the crankcase for all I know. I'll change the oil
this week and see if it changes in the next 500 and 1000 miles.
Not sure if the vibration/buzz is still there, Still haven't
hit 5000 RPM.
