Doc Wong is a squid. His clinics are nothing spectacular, and
his after-clinic rides are simply dangerous. A number of people
have crashed in his rides, sometimes taking out the people behind
them. He's had lawsuits against him.
After his talk, he divides the group into three categories:
fast, medium, slow. Even the slow group goes reasonably fast,
and riders are over their heads while trying to put into practice
"tips" they've just learned. He also takes people on great
twisty roads, with lots of patchwork asphalt. A challenge that's
not desirable when trying to learn new techniques.
I went on one of his rides a few years ago, and even though when
I signed the waiver I said "no, I don't want chiropractic info",
I'm STILL getting propaganda from his clinic.
My advice? Stay away from that idiot. I also wrote a letter
to the editor of a magazine (Rider? Motorcyclist?) a couple
years back (which sounded like the above) and it got printed.
