I have been eagerly waiting the FJR's arrival. I've sat on one a number of
times, but not test ridden. One matter did become apparent very quickly, was
that the pillion footpegs are quite high to give the clearance for the
upswept exhausts. This has the effect of bending the pillion's legs, a la
sports-bike.
My wife is slightly taller than me and has waaay longer legs, so either some
sort of modification would have to be made or it's rule the FJR out.
This is what led me to the GTS, as others have told me that they have found
it good (for the pillion).
A 'grand-tourer' Gold Wing, etc is not really my cup of tea :>)
Any more reasons why I should be looking harder at the GTS would be very
welcome.
