Well I hope you guys are happy, with all this bickering going on about red
blue RED BLUE - sheesh! I was left totally undecided on which was the best
color for my baby. I finally decided {insert drum roll here} yes my final
answer is........... to paint it BOTH red and blue!!!! A perfect balance
between that speedy red and the sophisticated blue.
Actually it will be a rainbow of colors because it's a paint that actually
changes color depending on the angle you look at it and the amount of light
hitting it but the main colors will be red and blue. Oooooooohhhhhh I can
hardly wait. I'm off to the Big Apple for a couple of weeks and when I get
back it'll be all painted and ready to assemble.
Before making this traumatic decision though I actually called Color Rite
and found out their prices were a bit high and they couldn't guarantee an
exact color match to the factory 94 blue. So I grabbed the signal light I
ordered a couple of years ago which accidentally came from a 94 and had to
be painted (still had some blue on the back side) and went to a Sikkens body
shop supply store where I matched it almost exactly to a 1995-2000 Renault
color R432. My painter was almost ready to mix the color when I called him
and told him to wait and shoot it with the new color I'd found (he thinks
I'm nuts). Anyway, one of these days when I get a few minutes I'll give you
guys the full rundown on the whole teardown.
