Jason, I'm having exactly the same problem here accross the pond. Previous
owner swears it didn't happen to him, maybe some water entered through the
keyhole while it was no one's bike. All my efforts to solve it have been
useless so far, but I'm reluctant to forgo the convenience of having just
one key for ignition, tank, seat, and glovebox. Right now a quick giggle
will do the trick for me. I understand you can't order a new lock to match
the existing one. Anyone know otherwise? any cures? Please note this is a
mechanical failure (wear?) within the ignition lock, not an electrical one.
Anyway, please let the list (or me) know if you find a cure.
