Can someone recommend a good source for stainless or kevlar replacement
brake lines?

Subject: Re: GTS FRONT BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL
Pete,
Front brake lever travel is in part a result of brake line expansion. GTS's
have a lot longer rubber front brake line than other machines, due to the
ABS
system. The fluid has to be routed back to the pump then forward to the
disk.
The more rubber line you have, the more expansion you will get of that line.
The hydraulic fluid has to expand that line to a point equal to the pressure
being exerted on the pads, in laymen terms. This is the very reason people
go
to stainless steel or kevlar brake lines, so that all the hydraulic pressure
is immediately transmitted to the brake pads. This yields a rock hard lever
instantly.
BTW, have you replaced your brake lines according to your service manual?
Service intervals calls for replacement of your brake hoses every two years.
