No. But.

It could be out of alignment between the front sprocket and the rear
sprocket. Also, if the chain has a 'kink' in it, you might get some odd
noises too.

Oh...and remember, the rear disc pads are a 'floating' design.
Sometimes, if they are dirty or the rotor has a little rust on it, you
can hear a 'grinding' type noise from those items also.

And I think the main reason you hear it at low speeds...no wind or motor
noise to drown it out!
