Tom, I have a 93 GTS. Although it has a side-stand safety switch, it runs
fine in gear on the center stand. I just have to make sure the side stand
is up.

Sounds like good advice, but there's one problem. The
U.S. GTS has a swtich to turn the bike off if you put
it in gear with either stand down. Any suggestions
from the list on how to temporarily defeat this
mechanism? I say "temporarily", because it's saved me
some embarassment in the past and I would like to keep
